  1. I'd love for a way that any actions/changes done in Dragon Domain Manager can be sent by email to someone, I guess either the admin or tech contact.

    Would be great for audit trail, as I can't see any other audit things on the web portal to say what might have happened by other admins?

    For example, if there's a hand full of registrar admins, and one of them changes an NS server setting for a domain, but doesn't let the rest of the team know... it'd be great to have an automated email that says what the change was.

  2. We often get asked how to add a PO number to a registrar’s invoices.

    On the registry side, this can only be done by the registrar themselves by logging into their Nominet account, going to Account Settings > Edit Address, and entering the PO number before midnight on the 7th of the month so it appears on the invoice.

    At the moment, only the main admin contact can make this change, the billing contact cannot. For a better user experience, we should look at allowing billing contacts to update billing information in future development.

  3. My understanding was that the limit was that the create command was per tag, but it seems like it's per registrar rather!
    I have now fixed this on my system and hopefully it resolves it.
    For other registrars I feel the wording could be clarified here https://registrars.nominet.uk/uk-namespace/registration-and-domain-management/acceptable-use-policy/ that it's per account not per tag. Many of the limits used to apply to tags and this is why I didn't pick this up.

  4. Do Nominet currently support CDS/CDNSKEY (RFC 7344) for DNSSEC key management or CSYNC (RFC 7477) for delegation and glue records on either .uk or the gTLD systems used by .wales/.cymru, .gov.uk and RSP customers

  5. When you release a domain, the process is very straightforward until the final confirmation page. There are progress tabs on the right hand side of the screen and the confirmation page shows 'Finished' being highlighted which tells you that the process is complete, however, it does not show the name of the domain(s) that have been released. All previous pages show the domain in question. If you get interrupted or called away, given that the transfer process is not instant, it's easy to forget which domain has indeed been completed, so having it showing would be extremely helpful!

  6. When searching for a particular domain on this page: https://secure.nominet.org.uk/domainmanager/domain-list.html - the search doesn't show results unless they are typed in the correct order. It would be great if you can add a broad search filter.

    For example, I was looking to see how many 'shop' related domains I own but I could not do that. I would need to know the exact domains name for i.e. justshop.co.uk or just shop.

    If I could simply type 'shop' and that would bring up all my domains that have the word 'shop' then I would be able to see my domains like:…

  7. The blue button marked ‘Cancel Transfer’ isn’t revealed until the info for a domain name that’s already in a pending registrant transfer job is expanded. Someone might select the domain names they are wishing to cancel an already active registrant transfer for, but not expand one of the domain names in the job’s info to reveal the ‘Cancel Transfer’ button but instead click ‘Cancel Domains’ which is located further down the page. Doing this causes the user to then proceed through two to three other pages of text explaining that the domain names will be cancelled (not deleted) along with…

  8. There needs to be admin/billing & technical contacts - this can only be done 1-by-1. Registrars with many domains find this a very long task and would like to be able to bulk update the admin/billing/technical contacts (if it is the same contact) - as it is possible to do a bulk update of registrants.

  12. When changing locks on a domain, it doesn’t seem to update either the columns in the list or the values used for filtering, so they still show as “OK” despite now having clientDeleteProhibited, clientTransferProhibited and clientUpdateProhibited applied. Presumably there is some caching happening somewhere which needs to be invalidated upon update.

  13. Being able to select which columns you want to see in the list view is a nice touch, but it would be good if these were remembered at least across the current session as currently they reset whenever you leave the page.
